Passionate about social justice? Join us and help plan the next Local to Global Justice Forum & Festival!
The annual Forum & Festival event (formerly known as the "Teach-In") cannot happen without the dedication and hard work of the Local to Global Justice planning committee. Comprised of students, faculty, and community members, the planning committee works to organize every aspect of the Forum & Festival event. From speakers to entertainment, and from food to logistics, the committee plans it all.
The primary goal of the Forum & Festival event is to educate ASU students and the greater community about issues of local and global justice, while promoting diversity, freedom of speech, and academic freedom of discussion. If you have a passion for connecting local diversity, sustainability, and social justice issues to larger global struggles, then joining the Local to Global Justice planning committee may be a great opportunity to put your passion into action.
Meetings are held near the ASU-Tempe campus on alternating Saturdays August thru December, and weekly January thru February. Check out our calendar for meeting information, and feel free to join us at any time!
